Here at Loma Vista Memorial Park we are always mindful about caring for our precious natural resources. In keeping with that mission we will soon be completing the surface level aeration of our lawns. This will allow us to keep our greens beautiful while using much less water. More details are coming soon!

Happy New Year! Best wishes to you and your family for a peaceful New Year in 2014. Each year we look forward to celebrating Memorial Day and other important holidays and events. We hope you will consider joining us for a day of enjoying the beauty of our park and remembering the service and stories of the many service men and women interred here at Loma Vista.
 As we come to the end of 2013 we pause to remember all of the blessings in our lives and appreciate the ones around us. We hope that 2014 brings a new vista of opportunities and joys to you and your family. From all of us here at Loma Vista Memorial Park, may your holidays be bright and may 2014 prosperous and happy.
Join us for our 75th Annual Memorial Day Commemoration “Avenue of Flags”
Monday May 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. Volunteers are needed on Saturday Morning, May 25th at 8 a.m. to place flags and crosses on all of our veteran's graves. Contact us if you're interested. 
Imagine the clip-clop of a horse and buggy or bumping along in your ‘Tin Lizzie’ and you can just smell and feel Loma Vista’s original old dirt road back in 1914 when we first started. Imagine looking to the west from the old dirt road and viewing acres of citrus and walnut trees and and sheep grazing on what was once the Bastanchury Ranch.
Ninety-eight years later the old dirt road has become Holly Oak Lane, featuring an innovative and exclusive area for burials and cremation. Some of the orchards may be missing but you can still view our same trees and listen to the beauty and sounds of rustling leaves and the chirping California Bluebirds as well as smell the rosemary and lavender. As you walk the lane you’ll see burial sites of some of the soldiers who fought in the Spanish American and Civil Wars as well as WWI and some of the pioneers of Fullerton. The Old Road Estates and Cremation Garden will be open in early November of 2012. |
